Chapter Fifty Two: The Massachu

Have we ever really wondered how power truly operates in this world? We have never seen such power a woman holds when she brings a new life into this world. Of course, there's a lot of pain involved in the process. And there's a nine month of waiting period, too.

This power is so underestimated that women today are still fighting for their rights. How could we be so blind into thinking what a woman's role in this world could not, when such a thing of marvel ensures that generations will continue to exist? Such a power to create life is the greatest thing to behold. And we owe this to a woman. Oh, how we all forget!

There are many powers that exist, other than what is the greatest. In fact, powers define people. It elaborates on what can be achieved, and how it contributes to the main attributes of society. For years, people chased all sort of powers that led them to war. People turn to violence to define the powers they truly hold. Fight after fight, they turn to pride as they conquered kingdoms after kingdoms.

Such is what is attributed to the Massachu. It started as a tale that humanist persons developed over time. From folklores, to tales, its attributes began to take hold. The proctors, the elites, the weaklings, they all understood the power cradled within, and anyone who would attempt to cross this line of power will meet his horrible death. Most folklores don't end well, after all.

For years, the Massachu is central to their pursuit of power. Everyone wanted to know if such power can be found, or even contained, in a mere object. Can it be more powerful than the power of creating new life?

We began to search, satisfying our curiosity bit by bit. It is a wonderful thing to behold, and to search for it can become a quest. We tend to see what is forbidden like a stubborn child, and do it as a matter of obligation.

The Massachu is a thing of mystery, although people should not play with power.
