Chapter Fifty Five: A Skirmish

"For the Agreement!"

Several Illustrators have changed from one animal to the next, from one creature to another. The mystical rings glowed in the darkness as the skirmish ensued near the border dome.

But the Taxonomists were prepared too. Shock wave pistols are fired relentlessly while the Illustrators skillfully evade the shots. The Illustrators tried to attack as well, and at some instances they were successful. The Taxonomists also got their aim right at times, and some Illustrators were injured.

As the skirmish continued, the Taxonomists have called for reinforcement. The Illustrators were easily outnumbered, so now it is time to retreat.

"Beneath! Quickly!"

The mystical rings emitted red light, and after three seconds, they were gone. These attacks from nowhere has become frequent at the border and now the Scientific Council has doubled the patrols in the area.

The Taxonomists injured by the Illustrators has now exibiting the symptoms so they were ushered off immediately to the hospital. All of them were stunned by the presence of these wild animals, so extra care must be put in handling them.
