Chapter Forty Nine: The Illustrators and the Mystical Rings

Patrick has fierceness in his eyes. The Illustrators have long been submissive to the Renaissance since trading routes have been established a long time ago, sharing with the power that only the imagination can hold. Illustration hasn't been much appreciated during those days. Today is no different.

He has seen this before from the revolution in the final days, when science has conquered everything but left the most important things behind. Everyone allied to the Literary Committee was vanished from the land, the magical forests have been divided, and the border dome kept everyone away.

As the tree is about to regain its power, the most accomplished Illustrators, the Proctors, were very keen to committing to an alliance with the See of Dunster, in hopes of attacking the Scientific Community and reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. But that was even before the revolution started. In the See of Colors, all Proctors were great shape shifters and as they mastered their imagination further, harmonious relationship existed.

But, again, that was before.

It was those rings, the mystical rings, that put light to images and the visual culture that is now known. These rings unleashed the power of illustration further. The rings consecrated to the magical tree has proven its worth. It contains the ultimate power, the knowledge about everything. And someone wants to steal it.

Now, only the Agreement matters. Reading it is the ultimate responsibility. The Renaissance must be restored, and the magical tree returned to its righful place. The Proctors are listening all over, watching their every move carefully. The Reader only need to say the word. The pack is ready in all circumstances.
