Chapter Fifty Four: The Graveyard

No one is here anymore. Or is it?

There are no markers, no tombstones, no grass or trees that provided shelter for certain animals. There are definitely no squirrels, anymore. It was a sad place, as it has been.

But tonight, no one would have guessed what this place is, before everything banished from here. This place was the graveyard of dreams. It is where the Third Friend was laid to rest, as well as some important relics. This is not a fantasy or some legend that circulated around centuries ago. This knowledge is factual.

Underneath are the remains of countless of persons who have died not chasing their dreams. Should we even chase something? These dreams that are never worth it? Dreams that sometimes take forever to achieve, and very tiresome to have a go for? The debates about this go on.

But there is a special place for those people not achieving their dreams. This graveyard is a proof that it exists, although only a few knows where this place is, or how to get here. The bad news is that these people died feeling they were a failure, but the good news is that this graveyard is full of dreams.

Ah, yes. These dreams may be troublesome to have or pretty nice to have. They say it is these dreams that motivates humans to act, dare, fight, or persist. It is this pursuit of goals that oils the human machinery, the very reason why someone wakes up in the morning. Dreams are motivation.

It may now occur to you that this land is full of opportunities, as well as failures. Maybe it is full of mistakes, too. This place has been created for a reason so as not to exploit what has been laid to rest. It is this power that the ghosts have been hunted for years, and now this place has been hidden for others who hunger for power. True enough, it was hidden from them.

Maybe the time is already ripe, and the waiting game is over. The ghosts and the remains are ready to prove the folklore true.
