Chapter 268: Educational Psychology

The Institution Plate is one of the seven artifacts that has been in full possession of Burnhall University for quite so many years now, and it has become a major part of its many traditions, including the Motto Day and the Solemn Dedication of Burn Hall, to name among the few. The Plate itself was made with extremely rare metallic materials that can withstand all the elements of fire, wind, earth, and water.

Among the many stories attributed to the Institution Plate is a distinct urban legend that is gloomy and quite depressing in nature. While the Plate was able to withstand the properties of fire, the legend holds that a certain fiery rage will occupy the Plate first as the first of the warning signs that will fulfill the Celestial Prophecy that Heaven will share with the tribulations of humankind through the bridge that has been, ever since the coming of the Word Incarnate, shared with the Holy Cross of Salvation.

But nobody, really, was actually believing that such urban story is told to be true, mainly due to the fact that the sanctity of Heaven can never be breached by unknown forces of evil. There is simply no reason for Celestial Security to fail as a matter of principle.

Many understood that the legend describes the Second Coming of Christ, and nothing more.

However, the raging fire was present right there on the Institution Plate, and everybody saw it with their own eyes. It was too overwhelming to see it materialize in their presence, especially when they are too familiar with the rare literature that foretells a future of gloom and peril.
