Chapter 206: The Unicorn Blood and Donations for Peace Act

Dudley Communes, one of the Great Horns, was deeply troubled since the investigation of the murdered unicorn started to take course. His troubles were not about the evil or the goodness of such act, but it is the external relations that the unicorns had with their neighbors that has began to be the paramount concern.

It was a long time since it collapsed, but the law that enabled trade relations from the Unicorn Blood and Donations for Peace Act is still legally binding and enforceable, but now the petitions to repeal the Act has gained traction among the capable unicorns who decides most policies as a matter for the Great Horns, and public anger has since been felt in the political arena.

Not much has been said since the beginning of negotiations for this bill, other than it helps save the lives of many. The Federated Trade Council supported the measure as a matter of compromise, and history is scarce as to the details of what really transpired.

As of the moment, the law is binding but the sentiments have put the politicians under scrutiny for failing to protect the integrity of their story. Some elders even suggest that failing to defend their mythology is a high crime.

But who could have initiated this attack? Ambassadors have been summoned after the incident, but the Great Horns have not in any way detected any lying or deceit from their questioning.

Tensions simmer as the Unicorn mythology awaits of the findings of the investigation. Unicorns have the perfect nose and set of ears to initiate an informed inspection of the crime scene.

The Great Horns are firm in their stand. Whoever is the culprit will face the full extent of the law that neither the Federated Trade Council can stop.
