Chapter 204: The Alchemist's Letter

Dear Beloved,

I hope that you are well, and that may this letter reaches you doing exactly the things that you are supposed to do; I hope you are happy, and I remain forever in your favor. Regarding the several requests you have made of me, I shall not further dignify this with my own selfish thoughts, for I myself has been in complete disagreement with my own soul.

I shall not, in any way, respond to this written Agreement, although I lament that your role as the Reader really submerges my heart in the coldest lake, and I feel the chill in my flesh and the fear of this undertaking so much as to concern myself too much for your own safety.

I trust that you may fulfill the requirements of this Agreement and to the best of the abilities of those concerned, and may you not perish under their own selfish causes. For I am as with you as with Ezra Dunster, but I am not foolish enough to take the bait.

As for me, I am not. I am an Alchemist, not a hero, after all. And all of us has been plagiarized, only differing in the way we speak the sentences and how these thoughts manifest. Again, I must excuse myself. I am not worthy of heroism. Never will I be.

I shall travel from here into nowhere, and hopefully flee the dangerous claws of this evil regime. Please remember that I fled from here out of sense and reason, and not from cowardice or fear. I may be weak, but I am not a fool.
