Chapter 187: Evidence Against Assemblyman Steam
President Algebra has called the Taxonomists to present his allegations against Assemblyman Steam, and instructed them to do what they ought to do, and commence an investigation against his literary inclinations as constituting high treason. The evidence, as detailed in the white paper, contains a detailed conspiracy exposing the secret operation spearheaded by the remnants of the Literary Committee, from the vandalism in the Taxonomy Tower to the killing of the missing Chemists and Medics, to the ambush of a delivery truck going to the Industrial Secrets.
As the President presents his accusations, everything became clear that agents of the Literary Committee has infiltrated the Perfect Order's pursuit to more perfection, obviously to try and sabotage its efforts for their return, and now the Chief of Taxonomy was very certain of this plot to overthrow the Scientific Council based on the available evidence.
"They must be stopped," the Chief said. "We just can't wait for these traitors to eventually kill us. I must inform the Tower of Taxonomy right away."
"No, not yet," President Algebra said. "I want to strike them at the right moment. And to catch the traitor red handed. We just need to watch their every move as closely as possible."
The Taxonomy wasn't sure that this is a good idea. "And then give them the opportunity to kill us first? We must not wait for too long, or it may already be too late."
"No, we will never be late. That is why I summoned you, the best Quantum Shooter there is."
He nodded.
"Yes, of course," the Chief has said, sounding agreeable. "But we should never underestimate the power of literary pursuit. This is also a dangerous thing to consider, and the enemy should never be taken for granted."
