Chapter 185: The Anti-Plagiarists
The Weaklings have evolved into a separate class of specialist duelers, a beacon of peace and order within the ranks of the Literary Committee. They have come to be known as the Anti-Plagiarists, and have since evolved into an elite force that was respected in the Renaissance Society. With their police power, they have thrived with the Taxonomists in enforcing the law within and without the boundaries of the territory.
During the days of the Imperial Rule, the Anti-Plagiarists have mastered their Parchments and Fountain Pens, made in communion with the See of Old, and the skills they have developed from this obedience have become too important to be ignored. One by one, they have become masterful, expert wielders of fountain pens in duels, and they have become simply one of the best.
Meanwhile, the Taxonomists have long been connected with the Boondocks Scientific Trust and its surrounding enabling treaties, that innovation has become one of their distinct characteristics. As the Anti-Plagiarists are allied with the See of Colors, the Paper Mill and the Gold Mines, so are the Taxonomists in developing their scientific weapons during those days.
All of these things are within their common ground, and the knowledge that comes with it remains to be discovered or rediscovered, maybe within this world. Or maybe in a parallel universe. Nobody was certain at this point.
It was very clear during the final days that the Taxonomists targeted the See of Colors to strip the Anti-Plagiarists of their chief weaponry, and that strategy defeated them too early. As the Inks ran out, so was their hope. They have fallen victims of treachery from all corners of the society that their defeat lingers in the mouth of those who knew or remember it so well, like stale bread.
