Chapter 184: The Most Potent Magical Twig

The Bishop of Old made sure that he was unique in every way, that his characteristics are unmatched, his skills are excellent, and his weapons wield a certain power that no one else has ever imagined. He made sure that he was powerful in every way possible, that no one shall be able to replicate him, or conjure any of his wondrous or evil deeds.

So he took upon himself to differentiate his dreams, including his thoughts, from any other Bishop, Deacon, or Dean. He blessed himself with certain ideas that cannot be stolen from him, or taken away from him with force, of which he cannot be defeated. This ensured that no one can topple him down from his position of utmost magnificence.

The Bishop of Old wanted to make sure that he ruled for a very long time, but not him knowing, this blessing will become a curse as the future later on unfolds to deliver a very strong message of regret. It is so strong  that it results in a bitter failure and an extremely humiliating downfall.

Just as he was busy strengthening himself, he refused to replace his Magical Twig with an Old Branch that is usually given to the Cardinals as a result of their stature. He was too stubborn to share with the collective humanity and wisdom of the Cardinals, and this resulted in him making a unique, and only, separate class of magical twig that came directly from the Tree of Life.

The Tree of Life has been hidden from them ever since, and the Bishop of Old was the only person to have managed to share with this immense power. His weapon has been called the Most Potent Magical Twig, which is uniquely forceful, and substantial in every way possible. It was him who discovered its true potential, the magical strength of the chants contained in the soul and the physical body, the inner substance of human flesh. As the Old Branches served the Consistory, its collective stance nevertheless has failed to match the capability of the Most Potent Magical Twig of the Bishop of Old, the singular most powerful weapon in the history of humankind.
