Chapter 113: The Text of the Agreement
from abuse,
from treachery and evil thoughts,
from death and moral decay,
So that we have agreed upon ourselves, without future regard to the risks and dangers, in which we shall carry out the stroke of the pen, to read and be read, to color the world in its glory once again, that we must oblige from our common good for the protection of this Society,
so that:
we must see the perfect order as it is,
and seek to destroy its evil schemes, by which we will find our common humanity,
and even though this Society has been destroyed, we will belabor our thoughts to penetrate its thick walls, to expose in ourselves that such perfection does not exist, and will never exist, even though we have tried hard enough:
that to err is human.
Now we must see the world as it is, to read the stanza, admire the prose, and sing the lyrics, that although war is at hand, we rest ourselves to the word of those stories that taught us chivalry and outstanding courage.
On and on, we will go further. Until then, we shall return. Let the reader read these statements into an Act, and let the Act do its own enactment for the sake of our deeds.
In witness hereof, we have hereunto signed our names for the remaining heroes of the Literary Committee.
