Chapter 117: The Airweed Antidote

The St Therese of the Child Jesus Professor of Miracle Science, Alistair Dread, is now teaching a third year class on antidote making, specifically the Airweed Elixir which is solely responsible for the cure of the death-fantasy poison, found mostly in chemicals responsible for ink and vandals on walls and edifices. This poison is a potent one, and mostly concealed, but it is widely used as a surveillance decoy rather than a poison in itself.

"The Airweed Elixir produces the miracle called the antiseptic bouncing, which is responsible for eliminating the toxins that causes the death-wish dreams as the effect of death-fantasy potion. So it is important to get as much of the airweed from these stems of Heavenly Stalks, mix it with the other elements, and make the proper elixir," said Professor Dread.

The third year students were very attentive as the Professor scribbles the curative formula on the board, as well as giving the exact measurements of the ingredients of the elixir. Everybody knows how hard Miracle Science is, that most of them dread missing attending the classes in the Division. It is a prerequisite for most important courses being offered by other departments and has become so important that nobody wants a failing grade in poison and elixir making.

"So now you mix the three-fold herbs while mixing vigorously," Professor Dread said while attending to his golden chalice, "you will notice that our elixir is now slowly turning pink."

The class listened and watched attentively while the professor was making his concoction. Then finally, it was finished.

"Now, you will do as I did. You have thirty minutes to do your own elixir. Get your golden chalice and ingredients. Off you go."
