Chapter Thirty Two: The Secrets Within

The Councilor looked at him with disdain, then back at the paper, then looked at him again. It was the worst thing that ever could happen with the operation, and the secrets it might foretell, and all its shock and horror. This operation has been hidden for quite some time now, and it cannot afford to result to a failure.

"How could this happen? What happens next?"

He shook his head. The person he was talking to also look disturbed, worried that the secret will be known at the inappropriate time. The Scientific Council is not easily to be fooled, and no debate can allow them to get away with it.

"I do not know. But it looks serious."

The Councilor read the paper again. The findings they have been looking for in all the experimentation has resulted to the findings they were not ready to see at this point in time.

"It happened again. It did."

They both knew that that was a very right statement. There is nothing left to hide anymore, so they have to agree on a diversion. Nobody cannot know this. It shall be prevented.

"How do we curb the revelation of this secret?"

The Councilor nodded. And he knew there are enormous consequences to do this. But it has to happen. There is no other choice plausible.

"The only way we know," he said with fear in his voice.
