Chapter Ten: The Economics Institute

He wasn't late that morning. As a new hire, he had to be early. He is now entering the Institute with optimism, but he also had to be very careful to be too much confident, so his steps are calculated.

Eliot may be new in this job, but he wasn't new to this at all. His role in the Agreement was clear to him, and he must fulfill it. The mission may be hard, but there is no turning back now. Work must be done, and it will be delivered.

He already had his job description but it was the least of his concerns. His job is to seek a document that was left unread by everybody during the last days. There was a secret in their midst, and this may be a key to starting the role of the Agreement.

This document is so unclear that it will be like finding a needle in a hay stack, so careful moves are wanting. If everything breeds a new war against the Scientific Council, then so be it.

They must not be too antagonistic for this, so he can hopefully lean on the graffiti for purpose. I hope everybody reads the start of the search, he said to himself.

The lobby of the Institute was so beautiful that in his mind, this edifice contains all the greed of the Scientific Council that he cannot contain his disgust. They are as hypocritical as their statements against literature.

Only a few minutes before he meets his boss, and he is very much excited for this perilous journey ahead.
