Chapter 175: Neuron Infarction

The Reader knew what must happen next after finding Annex A of the Book of Chants, to proceed to the Dwarves Union Paper Mill in order to find the See of Colors once again. She knew that the past will offer more clues as to the Agreement's prophecies, so it is important to contact the Dwarves as soon as possible. A war has been lost before, on the same ground, and history repeats itself unless something new has been done to change its course.

And how she missed the See of Colors! The Illustrators and the Proctors are key allies in the Imperial Synod even before the Empire brought its own destruction upon itself.

The Reader decided to look into her Manila Spectacles again, to search for the correct neuron in order to transport her to the place where the Dwarves are. She knew the magical forest to be very enchanted, and although this isn't part of her role in the Agreement, she can't possibly wait until a contact has been established.

So she searched on and on, transferring from one neuron to the next, hopping from ghost to ghost until she found the information she needed.

The Museum of Nature is impenetrable based on current scientific advances, but still her Manila Spectacles can maneuver inside its thick walls. As she continued reading, something unfortunate happened. It is very grim, and something tragic.

A neuron suffered an infarction. The imbalance in the Museum has been triggered, and now the alarms go off. An intruder has been detected by the system, and now the Reader must flee for her life before Taxonomists apprehend her in a moment's time.

She needs to hurry.
