Chapter 148: The Archaeologists

A deep excavation has resulted in the Archaeologists' major findings to an odd discovery of a "mechanical" bone structure of what appears to be that of a dinosaur; this was also accompanied by a fossil so great in magnitude that they started doubting the present science behind all of these matters.

"A robot?" Dr. Mercantile asked his companion.

The person he was conversing to was Professor Hector of Harvard University. "This is shocking," he said.

The team was almost finished with all the digging, and is now in the process of extracting the fossil and the bones from the pit down below.

"Do you think this was solar powered? Unbelievable."

Dr. Mercantile understood his excitement. That is, obviously, expected. But a while ago, he was also overwhelmed with a feeling of sadness, because this discovery might lead into something terrible, and he is a man of faith. He is very much afraid to appear before the Destiny Commission with this latest discovery.

"How old do you think this is?"

He was unable to speak. He just stood there, staring at the bones and the fossil. The robotic part seems to be a thousand years later into the future, too. He's an Archaeologist and he knows these things, having studied the subject for most entire years of his life.

But now he is so scared to face the truth.
