Chapter 140: Adamus' Antidote

It is very fortunate for Adamus to be carrying with him different elixirs, having been a good Miracle Science student throughout his years at Burnhall University. One in particular is the Orzeter Antidote, the most potent remedy for all types of fictional and creative poisons. He also have the Airweed Antidote with him just in case.

He took the vial of Orzeter from his coat's pocket and administered it to Edgar first, and then to Kirk, as well. Once they have received the antidote, Adamus can see it working right away. At first, Edgar seems confused and may have thought that he was already dead. Then, light begins to envelope him, which made him open his eyes in disbelief. The miracle started working, and before the light vanished, Edgar was able to stand up again.

"What was that?" Edgar asked.

The same thing happened to Kirk, and now he was standing next to Edgar, looking very confused. He can't help but to ask another question.

"Who are you?"

"I have no time to explain right now," Adamus replied. "But I need your help. Can you show me where Fort Velocity is?"

"Yes, we can. But it is a top-secret facility and heavily guarded. We do not have access," Edgar said.

"It doesn't matter," Adamus replied. "I can get in without anyone knowing. Can you show me where?"

"Yes," Kirk said. "But sorry I have to insist. We didn't catch your name."

"My name's Adamus and I am an Angel."
