Chapter 144: The Office of the Magical Forestry

Long before the final days of the war that had defeated the Literary Committee, there came several offices related to the Magical Twigs and its reproduction, the main purpose of which was rightfully vested in the Office of the Magical Forestry. This is a secretive office, with its lumbering operations concealed from the scrutiny of the public eye, not knowing how it truly works. No one knows exactly how it is made or polished, and what was needed to be accomplished to produce a Magical Twig that can obey the Book of Chants.

The Registered Forester of Magic is a very secretive position and it is traditionally held by Literary Members of the highest caliber. It is safe to assume that as a secretive office, the Magical Forestry has earned the reputation of a coveted post within the ranks of the Literary Committee.

Once being very cooperative with the Scientific Council, the Office has recorded an incident that happened with the Council of Legislators, as Taxonomists raided the Office with warrants of authority from the Speaker of the Scientific Assembly. The President of the Literary Congress vehemently objected to this raid, which then paved the way for a full scale war in the final days, as power struggle resulted in the worst Constitutional Crisis in recent memory.

As we all know by now, the rest is history.

The Anti-Plagiarists and the Taxonomists have long been in contention with the police power that it shared, and this brewing discontent among their ranks has added to the pressure of power and dominance. This feud will take a dominant role in the future, where everything is bleak and the future is so, so dark.
