Chapter 131: Interpretation of Results

He looked around in case someone has followed him. So far, there is none. He then focused his sight on his orb, just to refocus his thoughts. He has seen nothing like it. As a Neyork, he was deeply troubled. He is in complete shock. Petrified, at least. He has killed a unicorn.

At first, he did not know what to do. Then, it was as if he does not have any idea of what his body was doing. It seems like it has a mind of its own. Although, these things may look trivial to some, he knows what exactly was happening. It was his destiny calling him. The Physical Clock is now at work, and everything will fall on its place as it should.

He saw the Proctor materialize right beside him. He acknowledged him, but he has no idea who he was and what he was up to. After a while, he spotted the unicorn, and did what he was supposed to do. He attacked the unicorn without provocation. He was appalled to see it. Totally shocked and deeply troubled.

The silver blood oozed out of the wounds, and the Proctor quickly retrieved his flask from his pocket, and collected the blood. When his time was up, the Proctor quickly approached him and said, "The 'X' marks the spot. Great job."

He tried to gather himself up, but he knows what was happening. He has seen a Proctor from the future, and now he was stuck in the past. Unless the Physical Clock is found and recalibrated, destiny will control his actions and emotions. It will lead him right into the abyss of the future, where he was ought to be.

Now, he was afraid that he has sparked some political tension as a murder of a unicorn will not be taken lightly. A civil war is almost certain to unfold, and the Agreement will eventually fail. This secret has not been foretold to anybody, not even to Ezra Dunster.

He felt the chill of the cold air as he was trying to take it all in. This is a difficult war to be a belligerent of your own destiny. Many fails a battle, but a few wins the war. Nobody will go down without fighting till the end.
