Chapter 136: The Divisions of the College Part I

Burnhall University is divided into several Divisions that represent the body of knowledge in which Angels must train themselves before being employed in their ministry in one of the Three Branches of Service. Each Division is headed by the Dean, and its faculty members are recognized experts in their particular field. Together, the academia of Burnhall University represents the ultimate service of the Angelic Hosts.

The first and foremost of these fields is the Division of Songs. The Songs spoken by the Angels provide a certain power that commands will and compulsary action. Angels use them in the battlefield and in guidance. It is the Songs that give the Angels their own weapon of choice, and courses from this Division are considerably hard.

Next to this discipline is the Division of Miracle Science. This field is responsible for healing and elixirs, and students must learn how to brew concoctions in order to produce an elixir with miraculous properties. About 78% of alumni reported that they had extremely difficult time from the courses in this Division.

Then we have the Division of Dueling, which is responsible for the production, manufacture, and engineering of the Orchestra Baton, in order to arrive at optimal efficacy when they are used in the battlefield. The courses from this Division examines the properties of dust particles used for the engineering of these batons, and a pair of extra careful hands are needed in the laboratory to excel in Dueling.

Meanwhile, the Division of Guidance presents conflict, pride, conscience, sanctity, and evil into a cohesive concept to be discerned as the fundamental elements of decision and action. It is within the confines of this inquiry to determine the will power that will ultimately decide triumph from tribulations. The courses are extremely Mathematical, and the alumni reports negatively about the courses as being "hard, impossible, and absurd."
