Chapter 244: Writers' Block

In the hopes of keeping peace within the Imperial Synod, the several Sees have declared their support in strengthening the cooperation between the Neyorks and the Boondocks Scientific Trust, by furthering their skills in making the fountain pens for use of the Anti-Plagiarists. This talent known as marksmanship and the corresponding manufacture of inkblotts help them and the Goldsmiths in forging weapons for the security of the entire empire.

The See of Colors had its own glory within the ranks, and an important ally during the golden age. Together with the Dwarves Union Paper Mill, they have strongly countered the severe effects of writers' block. This condition restricts the ability to draw daggers from the parchment, while the Anti-Plagiarist loses connection with the different elements of the weaponry, detached from the reality and clouding their own precise sense of vision.

For a time, the orbs of the Neyorks have protected the Anti-Plagiarists from this effect that hinders their imagination. The term "weakling" to refer to the Anti-Plagiarist has been aptly coined to identify this rare condition, while the Proctors and the Illustrators flourished in the way they conquered their mystical rings, but without the same anomaly.

In this regard, the Illustrators have become adept in using their imagination to peak into the future, to use their minds in predicting what will happen into the unknown going forth within the set parameters. They have seen this exact moment, and so the Agreement must be found by these very dedicated Illustrators.

As the Literary Committee eventually fell after bravely fighting in the Battle of the See of Colors, the See of Dunster managed to conjure for the last time, an Illustrator named Patrick, to travel into the future, in the hopes of finding the Agreement ruined and unfulfilled, so that a new battle on this ground shall arise, which is vital in redeeming themselves and avenging their loss once and for all.

The folklore involving the Three Friends of Ezra Dunster eventually survived the test of time, and it is now a common tale to tell to everyone. Except, however, as decreed, the Scientific Council banned all kinds of literature. But this story survived within the minds of the whole population, therefore providing access for the Illustrators to seek and enter the imagination of others, which the perfect order cannot breach a certain veil far beyond their abilities.

As everybody rushes to fulfill their obligations within the Agreement, the whole universe conspires to make things happen for the best. By best, it means failing the Agreement. And this failure will trigger a new Battle for the Literary Committee to ultimately redeem itself.
