Chapter 202: Subpoena Ad Testificandum Served to the Dwarves Restoration Movement
The Taxonomists immediately proceeded to the location of their mission without further delay after the meeting, taking their patrol cars straight ahead towards the Forbidden Road that leads to the abode of the Dwarves. From there, a clear view of the Magical Forest is majestic and picturesque, but nobody can easily access the place without proper authorization from government agencies.
But the agents of the Tower of Taxonomy was not there for sightseeing, although the Taxonomists will be there for an important matter. Unlike the view, which is without a doubt breathtaking and desirable, the present mission requires for the serving of a legal document to the Dwarves Restoration Movement.
This is in compliance with the Grand Jury hearing of allegations against Assemblyman Steam which enumerates a list of high crimes he allegedly committed against the Scientific Council, and the Dwarves must be called upon to authenticate certain matters.
Although Assemblyman Steam has not been informed yet of his charges, the Principal Prosecutor wanted to build a solid case against any traitor that works to undermine the perfect peace and order, so he is building this case to be certain of multiple convictions, if not all.
The Dwarves remained apolitical for so long, and they have not been in trouble with the perfect order and the law for a very, very long time, so quite a news will come as a shock. This latest development proves something that the establishment must be able to clarify, before any thoughts that will lead to a revolution awakes within the population.
The Taxonomists have finally arrived in the destination desired, and border control has given the signal to proceed. They immediately travelled to the Dwarves' Peace Assembly Office.
Norbert was there to greet them, talked to them a little bit, and then the Subpoena Ad Testificandum has been legally served.
