Chapter 151: The Poem's Sadness

A sadness of eternity, engulfed me,
Embracing, drowning me into the abyss
Of a ten thousand hymns of praise,
But sadly, it was not for me.
I was alone for most of the time,
Seeking refuge, and care, and peace,
It was from the beginning, so solemn
Yet, so painful from the wounds it hurt.

It was a silly proposition!
A dying hope from the ocean of tears,
Benevolent, but so many I've dismissed.
A death, treachery, inconvenient truth,
What else is there? What else lies ahead?

These chants are nothing but pretensions!
Nothing more, nothing less!
Empty as the deepest trench.
"No, sir, you leave me behind!"
A monstrous presence that you are!

Are these memories you wish to behold?
Or is this something that you wish is gone?
"Go ahead, take your share,
You are nothing but cowardly and bare!"

"I am not what you think I am!
You have not walked in my shoes.
Do not take it as if I am,
The clever person you wish wasn't there!"

A poem's sadness, it is true.
Very much so, so profound and blue.

I was.
I am.
I will.
Tomorrow.
Blissful.
Yet, dangerous.
Perilous.
Unprecedented.
Death.
And life.
And then the cruel battle has begun.
