Chapter 120: The Cyborg Training Room
Captain Hunter evades the lightning saber of his imaginary opponent at the Training Room, with the same accuracy as he did before. He has not worn his Manila Spectacles for a while, having been to an expedition up north. Truly, his skills have not changed a bit, and his well-known prowess is still proving excellent; it has never waned for such a valuable skill, proving that his reputation can never be challenged in the near future.
He gave one last strike at his opponent that ultimately defeated it. The Training Room has just confirmed his victory with the appropriate sound, waves and lighting, and then the duel was over. The light immediately turned into a fluorescent glow.
He immediately removed his Manila Spectacles with the same air of chivalry he had always displayed, although this kind of behavior is common to all explorers. His training has never felt this good, and his return is much appreciated.
"Captain Hunter," said a voice behind him. It was Captain Harold, his chief competition. Both of them have achieved enough to be considered for greatness, but a little friendly competition is always in the nature of the Cyborgs. It is this competition that keeps the Woolswood Federation competitive and strong, and the Foundation's Rule has the same support to everyone who is willing to risk in order to gain something more.
"Captain Harold," he said, nodding to acknowledge the presence of his visitor. "I haven't seen you in a while."
"Yes," Captain Harold said in reply. "I have just been back. I heard that you have also just arrived earlier from an expedition."
"That is right," Captain Hunter said, flexing his lightning saber one more time, before keeping it intact on his left robotic leg. "My expeditions are not as dangerous as yours and your recent expedition was a complete surprise. Do you think there is something to be explored over there?"
"I believe so," said he. "I think not only lands to be explored, but power to be discovered."
"I see," replied the other. "I heard everything about it. But how will you expect to find this source of power without violating the Foundation's Rule?"
Captain Harold smiled at him, knowing what to say next. "I actually came here to discuss it with you."
