Chapter 119: The Death of an Outcast

It was a very bizarre death. Very strange, indeed. Peculiar. Dubious, but not unknown.

An Outcast has died with the same mark that the Scientific Council had used during the final days, which many of them remember as the Great Tribulation, as seen by many as a war crime. It was the same invisible bullets that they used to eliminate the greatly outnumbered Literary Committee. A weapon too powerful to bear, not to mention it was unregistered for being too barbaric, toxic, and immediately fatal.

The treaty between the Dwarves Union and the then known Rennaisance Society prohibits any attack against the Magical Forest without provocation, and this latest move to eliminate the Outcasts from outside the border dome has gone too far.

But nobody is in the opinion that such rights may still be enforceable, as the See of Old collapsed long before the final days. The natural powers of the Book of Chants has revealed it to them through a Roll of Scripts, which they have kept and offer to interpret throughout history.

After the Book of Ezra Dunster has vanished, the Empire quickly began to decline too. With such tremendous haste, the See of Colors and the See of Dunster also fell in the hands of foreign invaders. Boondocks succumb to attacks, too, including the Neyorks and the Goldmines.

What was left was nothing, and the only thing remaining, at least, was their common humanity. And then the unspeakable thing happened, the Dangerous Rhetoric, the Creatures from the Roll of Scripts, were released and has occupied the minds of the population.

All of them went from one person to the other, until all of them became so weak to face even the fictional Dangerous Lizards. Once eaten by the Creatures, the worms in their minds drains their creativity to create it. They have literally became food of the fictional world. They have been, sadly, utterly defeated in the same world they have created with their imagination.
