Chapter 181: More Killings

President Algebra's ploy has been successful so far, and now it is time for him to eliminate more of his accomplices. One by one, he visited them as a morphspeed, pretending to expose the plot against himself by enlisting their support for a false cause he secretly employed, to kill the people who can potentially succeed him to this position of power. He was so pleased with himself on how easily he fooled these supposed geniuses.

He remembered the secret conversations he had with them, discussing with so much accuracy about a clever plot to unseat him. The mere thought of it thrilled him so much, for all of them seemed confident that their foolish plans would actually work and help their cause. But they did not know how to meet evil in the face as much as he does. His person knows this for a fact like no one ever can. Even the Literary Committee will not be able to define this state of evil using a humanistic approach.

He is President Algebra, after all. He is the leader of the Scientific Council, a community committed to forming a perfect order by using a system that is both impeccable and absolute. It is easier to live in carefully calculated thoughts, with precise evidence than to listen to the romantic lines propagated by the Literary Committee in the form of poems.

He gave out an evil laugh after these memories hit him. He had to excuse himself because he needed not to laugh even further. However, if he concealed any more of his satisfaction by suppressing the laughter, his brain might pop out of his head, and that would be too graphic to describe.

Nevertheless, the brilliant, cunning plan has succeeded. Now, he must use the creatures as an excuse to use the Quantum Rifles against his own people under the dome, trying to manage the dangerous rhetoric, without triggering any of the effects provided for under the Particle Theory Act.

The time of reckoning must now begin, and they will need to locate the graves of the Three Friends, and fulfill the wishes of his own master.

Master? He asked himself.

I am the master of my own destiny, he answered back. He was nothing but joyous right now because this is very true. He and his master are one and the same.
