Chapter 180: The Cyborg's Take on the Book of Chants

The Federation President of the Woolswood Federation was holding the Book of Chants with the same wonder as he would look at any other old artifact. It sure is extremely precious, and very old from the look of its antiquity condition; it is something a book collector would normally buy from scavengers, and the purchase will be definitely more than a bargain.

He read the title multiple times while admiring its leather hard cover. He wondered who might be Ezra Dunster, whom he presumes was the author of the work. As he opened the first few pages, he saw its dedication page: 

To Beloved, the Cardinal

Who could be this person Beloved? The book is nothing but a synthesis of right and wrong, of histories proclaimed by a certain civilization and its prophesied downfall, and now he is wondering where this lost civilization might be located. Maybe a hidden power is still at their disposal, that is why this book was written to hopefully preserve it. 

He became very excited about the setting of this old book. Anything that needs exploration is a Woolswood Federation's business.

He stood up from his desk, and left the book resting on the table while he was supposed to proceed now to a scheduled meeting from the adjacent room, but he left his papers from his drawer and needed to retrieve it.

When he returned back to his desk after securing what he had forgotten, he saw the book glowed in neon green.
