Chapter Ninety Three: Manila Spectacles
The Reader has started hearing them, finally. She has retrieved her Manila Spectacles to read what she needed to see. But instead of reading, she heard it with her ears. She started listening:
But that is exactly fallacious. No. We cannot! Split it in half! Split it whole. Wait. I am having doubts. Should I continue? No. Okay. Wait. Right.
What are your arguments? You have reached this far. Don't be a coward! Cross the road! Do it! You have seen it. You have touched it. Now is the time! Take it! Take it!
I am afraid. Will it hurt? Will I feel pain? I know what pain feels like. How dare you accuse me of cowardice when you have no idea what I have been through! Back off! Back off!
I do not want you here anymore. Leave! Just leave! You said it won't hurt but you tricked me! How dare you! Part ways! Part ways! Stop looking at me like that!
This is your idea! You stupid coward! Now you are trying to seduce me again. You are a liar! I hate you! You cooperated with me just to destroy me!
Now is my chance! I will destroy this! You coward! I don't want you anymore! Leave! Leave!
The Reader tried to understand what was going on. As she is wearing the spectacles, she was waving her magical twig here and there, trying to comprehend what was going on, trying to read between the lines. Her discovery of the spectacles came as a surprise, but something is wrong, something is not right. The spectacles are trying to betray her.
And then, when she was not happy about what she was seeing and has taken enough, she screamed.
The Agreement has gone wrong.
