Chapter Ninety Eight: Particle Theory Act

He gasped for air as he was struggling to breathe. He has felt the symptoms three days ago, and he cannot take it anymore. The particles have been continually moving in his protective suit, but he can still feel it.

The hypocritical syndrome is quick to spread, and as a Taxonomist, he knew how it infects the body, the thoughts, and the soul; it is as scary as hell. It is a kiss of death so barbaric that you will not wish it to your mortal enemy.

The Particle Theory Act is a cruel instrumentation employed by the scientific community codified into a law, to protect the perfect order from the disruption of the arts, which is learned to be the primary reason of all known discontent and bloody revolutions.

But now, he is slowly being killed by this law. The border dome's cracks that let the creatures in was mistakenly attributed to him because of the fact that his eyes have seen it all. In short, he stared at the phenomena for quite so long.

Kirk is also dying. He has seen the creatures, too, and now his hypocrisy has been mistakenly detected, as well. Everything is now going wrong. He decided to wait for his demise while hiding from everyone. He will never allow himself to be caught as a defector.

Just as he was about to close his eyes to wait until his heartbeat is no more, he saw another winged creature. This time he is lifesize, an angel that he has never seen before. He immediately closed his eyes to prevent worsening his condition.

"Do not be afraid," says Angel Adamus. "I have a cure for you, and I need you to do something for me."

"Who are you?" asked Edgar. "Am I staring at death itself?"

"No," said Adamus. "You are looking at hope."
