Chapter 100: The Commodore of the Three Branches of Service
"It is starting."
The Commodore nodded, pretty aware of what was unfolding. The heavenly hosts are preparing for this moment, with zealous dedication to finally go into the final battle with Satan and his demons, in accordance with the Word. He is not seeing it as a threat, but a challenge whose victory is almost at hand. He can taste triumph in the air.
"We have prepared for this for a very long time."
The Angel nodded back, feeling the same excitement from the Commodore's voice. It is slowly happening in front of them, and trust has been given so much to the Word that not much care has been given to the casualties of the war. It must not happen again.
"May the chants help them," he responded and the Commodore nodded again, now looking more solemn and serious. He can still feel the pain of the first encounter, where a lot of souls perished.
"I hope so," said the Commodore. "The Room Above was prepared for this, Lieutenant. Everything is resting on you."
The Angel Lieutenant acknowledged him again, this time telling his superior that everything has been set. "The magical twigs have a mind of its own. It will help them."
The Commodore looked at him with the same confidence the Lieutenant has not seen for many years. They cannot fail now. A lot is at stake.
The Three Branches of Service: the Legion of Angels, the Room Above, and Miracle Services have all prepared long for this moment. The Commodore was not wrong in his confidence.
