Chapter Eighty Seven: The Road to the See of Colors

The Angel pointed her orchestra baton to the dangerous lizards ahead of her.

"Fidem! Fidem!"

As soon as the notes hit them, they have been stunned and stopped moving. She cleared the way. The now unfamiliar road is winding down from the magical forests, and the once busy road has nothing but the remnants of the past. It is empty and eerie.

She was tasked by the Room Above to do this road clearing, as part of her guidance mission, albeit all her life she wanted to be a part of the Legion of Angels. Guidance for her is a weak service, and her brawn was one of the best, even admired by most of her peers. She did not understand this latest appointment, but an angel must minister in whatever service she has been called.

As she searches for more dangerous lizards blocking the way, she has found several blockades, instead, cleverly hidden on the way. She suspected that they were land mines, waiting for any ambush to happen anytime soon.

Again, she raised her orchestra baton and called the notes, "Fidem! Fidem!"

The land mines suddenly levitated, and then disappeared. She searched for more of them as she was so certain that there are more, calling the notes everytime with the same exact precision. The Room Above has been very clear of this mission that she wanted to do her very best. She will ask to be transferred to the Legion of Angels later on, and she wanted to make an impression to justify the transfer.

For the journey to the See of Colors will soon begin.
