Chapter Twenty Four: An Encounter

The Outcasts have suddenly been alarmed by the arrival of a bulk of Dangerous Lizards, perflexed. Attack after attack, they were caught unarmed and they have succumbed to them. Worms have suddenly appeared from all places, and the cry of anguish dominated the noiseless night.

They have never experienced being attacked in this part of the magical forest, and now they are fearing on how powerful the Dangerous Lizards are getting. Could it be that they are learning at every encounter?

Now, they cornered the Outcasts as they paralyzed them even further, as more shouts erupted from its cheapness. Their neurons have started to produce numerous worms that the Dangerous Lizards have eaten in haste.

As the enemy sweeps through their minds, one Outcast has been alerted by the shouts of anguish and has been led to where they are. He immediately took his fountain pen and parchment paper, launching several daggers into space, attacking the Dangerous Lizards nearest to him. It hit four of them, and they were suddenly distracted.

They tried to attack him, but he is too quick, as he tried launching more daggers into the air. The Dangerous Lizards were able to dispel them. They then retreated from the area.

As the Outcasts regain their consciousness, they look at each other with terror in their eyes. Can they ever be safe again?
