Chapter 227: Quantum Lasers

"We cannot do this. We're all gonna die, sir!"

"But I have no choice!"

The Chairman of Experiments has been called upon in the middle of the testing of the new Quantum Lasers currently under development, and the experts of Currier Drive has been informed of the possible danger in the VFx Room.

"The optic nerves of the Dangerous Lizards are too much for humans to bear. Two of our Testing Agents are down inside the VFx Room. We have to step back and rethink the whole thing, sir."

The Chairman of Experiments fell silent and looked defeated. "We do not have much time left," he quietly said.

"But people will die by using this weapon. It is not safe for us to use! Please."

The Chairman nodded blankly. "Very well, I will order a retreat of the current testing phase until the death of the Testing Agents have been determined. This project is not being abandoned, but it must be in the direction of the safety of its use. Is that clear?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good," the Chairman of Experiments continued. "I will ask to convene an emergency meeting of the Board of Secrecy to get guidance as to the fate of this project moving forward. Got that?

"Yes. Absolutely sir."

"Perhaps a thorough investigation on the Dangerous Lizards must be made as to the potency of the venomous propensity of the dangerous rhetoric that it had an effect on these creatures. This must happen at the soonest possible time."

"Affirmative, sir."

The Chairman of Experiments nodded again. He looked everyone in the eye. "We cannot afford to lose this experiment. So much is at stake."

He had no other choice but to think positive, and nothing else.
