Chapter 219: An Emergency Dwarves' Meeting

The Dwarves have been digging underground, and now they are in danger of being exposed. The Subpoena Ad Testificandum has reached them in the most inconvenient time when cooperation with the Outcasts and the remnants of the Paper Mill's Board of Overseers are in full-swing, ready to invade the See of Colors after the Agreement was read.

Norbert had no other choice but to call a Townhall meeting.

"Should we submit ourselves?"

"What will happen to us?"

"Will they search our hallowed grounds?"

The Dwarves are full of questions and concerns as they are trying to maneuver themselves from this unseen war, as both sides are trying to outwit each other. Now, the circumstances have reached a turning point that must be confronted head on. It is time to face the music.

"We will submit ourselves to their judicial process," Norbert said. "I have talked to Francis about this."

"We all knew this is waiting to happen!"

"Now what?"

"Will they fight us again?"

Norbert just nodded amid the sea of concerns. He had no other choice. He must admit what the actual situation is without hiding anything. Lying will not help them now.

"They may fight us, but that would be delayed. We can always insist on extraterritoriality of the Magical Forests."

Everybody became silent. Not a single soul dared to speak. They knew in their hearts what was right, and what is needed to be done.

"We all know what needs to happen," Norbert said with finality.
