Chapter 158: The Fellow of the Boondocks Scientific Trust

"Is it time yet?"

He asked himself again. His voice produced an eerie echo inside the dark room. It reminded him that he was alone, and that the time is nearing again. It stabbed his heart knowing that it gives him the memories that he was lonely.

"Who will die this time?"

His confidence is shaking now. He has no idea how to tell the fellowship about this dark predicament without invoking its perilous venom. The past has a sting, a potent poison that slowly kills as the mind sinks into the abyss of uncertainty.

The Boondocks Scientific Trust was entrusted to keep this place safe, having been founded by the Bishop of Old in his Imperial Edict, "The Guardians of Reason." As things flourished in this corner of the Empire, the Trust was entrusted to elect its own Fellowship under the auspices of the Imperial Synod and the Consistory of the Cardinals.

Now, he was a Fellow of this great institution but currently suffering from an unfortunate dilemma. This dilemma has disturbed him so deeply that his misery has put his special weapon to the test while harboring these dangerous thoughts.

He must forget all of these in order to survive. But how can he tell the Fellowship? Just how?
