Chapter Sixty Nine: The Relics of Adam and Eve

Lucifer softly flapped his wings, and faced one of his dmons with that same air of contempt, as he would when he talks to them. He was well-dressed as always. He gestured for someone to close the door, then spoke to his guest who just got in.

"They shall not find it," he greeted him.

His room was quiet  full of white light, and well appointed. Even after the fall, he was still as vain as anyone can be.

"That cannot be assured considering..."

"Considering what?" Lucifer cut his servant mid-sentence. "You have stolen and hidden those relics. Surely they cannot find it?"

The servant looked at him with defeat in his eyes, then continued what he needed to say. "Considering that the story does not end well, dark prince."

"Does not end well?" He laughed, mocking his servant with the same arrogance that he have. "This fall should not end well for all of us and look where we are now?"

"But, sir, this is a question of..." His servant insisted.

"Power." Lucifer finished the sentence for him. "Of course. This power can be matched if we corrupt the same strength of a power. I want you to hide the relics of Adam and Eve. We need them. Surely, you understand that?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good," he responded with a smile on his lips. "No one shall see the light of day. This story will surely end, but not as they have hoped. This will end in destruction on their end."

The servant nodded vigorously, motioning to leave.

"Put the best guards on that place," Satan finally concluded, as the servant hurriedly left.
