Chapter Seventy One: The Orchestra Baton
Music plays an important part in human lives, primarily because it soothes the soul and it uplifts the spirit. But music also plays an important part in worship in the characteristics of the Heavenly hosts as much as they sing praises unceasingly in Heaven, and so we are praying endlessly in the world, too.
It is therefore safe to assume that music itself is a power, much so like what defines the common imagination. Music has become an integral part of humanistic traditions that its power cannot merely be underestimated.
The angels hold this power in such high esteem, which is more powerful than whatever weapon in existence. After the fall of Lucifer and his demons, this power began to develop even further. As good regained its form from the bruises of corruption, so is the music. It has become too potent, almost a hypnosis when being used to defend what is common good.
This weapon now holds the music in its tip. The Orchestra Baton commands a greater retrieval of this power, deep inside imagination and spirituality, that it dispels all sorts of evil. It is the most crucial weapon that was developed over time to defeat what the demons cannot withstand.
And so, we are presented with a similar weapon from the tree of life. As humans interact and gained their own accord of supporting their own survival, so are the angels who are loyal to God's throne. Just as the magical twigs are effective, so are the orchestra batons are the greatest.
But, of course, we cannot boast of this. Just like in any other story, treachery is everywhere. Betrayal raises the stakes, and this one is no exception.
The orchestra baton is similarly used, but its efficacy is much more marvelous than the magical twigs. When angels use them with the flick of their arm, even more magical things happen. Musical notes have played a critical role in taming the soul, and the orchestra baton signifies this intention.
As our story begins to take shape, and as conflict deepens, and so we shall see the orchestra baton being used and prove its promised power right before our very eyes.
Musical prowess is as important as time travel.
