Chapter Sixty Six: A Spy
What will profit a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his own soul? But what even greater tragedy would it be if someone successfully tried to split his soul?
The Angel Adamus was sitting on top of the Tower of Taxonomy, looking down at the busy world below him. He has seen the creatures enter through the cracks in space and time, he immediately followed them and so his dedicated duty must begin. The path toward this way was never easy, but it is necessary to capture Lucifer at all costs. Satan cannot escape what has been destined for him, not now that hell has always been waiting for his transgressions.
The Legion of Angels has specified a clear task: i.e., to prevent the Literary Committee in fulfilling the Agreement. The Agreement has been tampered. All of them has been deceived, for all things were banned, and success will never achieve anything, for all things are now lost. The unseen enemy has slowly creeped in since the corruption of the Garden of Eden. The devil has immediately put forth a clever, grievous plan, and he was successful on all fronts.
The Legion of Angels knew of this plan, long before all tales have been told. Man's search for the knowledge of good and evil rests in one premise: how to use the power within them. Lucifer knows this, and somehow his predictions have been correct.
But not quite. God has a story waiting for all of them. The story of the sacred imagination.
It is through this that evil thoughts, and good thoughts, reside in the minds of humanity. This power is preeminent in the power of choice, and the choice of action determines what the mind has cleverly insinuated. Evil manifests in what has been thought of as good, so all things good must exist before being corrupted.
Now, this story formally begins. The perfect order will keep them safe for now. The creatures must find its way to outmaneuver the Literary Committee. It is determined for humanity to suffer these unexpected defeats to become holy again.
The wind blew from the East, and it caught his hair strands, swaying back-and-forth. Let the new story begin.
Angel Adamus reporting for duty.
