Chapter 275: The Parallel Committee of Permanent Representatives

It has created a serious conflict, indeed, and now the Parallelogram Office has finally stepped in to prevent any more escalation of the diplomatic rift between the unicorns and the pfoHorses. This particular part of the created universe has been in the crossroads of a possible pivotal moment when the conditions of peace become tilted by the imbalance of interests, which is mainly brought about as a direct product of a seemingly shameless manipulation of indefinite causes.

An immediate resolution of the Parallel Committee of Permanent Representatives was passed to curtail any more armed retaliation from either side as embodied in the draft petition of the Cyborgs; several more resolutions were filed by the various permanent missions to the Parallelogram Office in calling for diplomatic measures to prevail in the urgent business of the permanentt committee in order to prevent the circumstances to ripen into a full blown war.

There were, naturally, a division of sides to take as events are quickly starting to unfold. It was clear from the very beginning that the pfoHorses and the Unicorns were definitely ready in the earliest resolve, violated enough to start an armed conflict which can only be decided by the engagement of war, albeit many parties in the Parallelogram Office, including the Woolswood Federation, have asked for cooler heads to prevail.

In a sense, the pfoHorses have simply delayed their retaliatory tactics in direct obedience to the wishes of the association of the Parallel Worlds, although the preparation for battle was in full swing, in case a sudden turn of the tide results in the collapsing of the peace talks within the prescribed rules of all exhausted diplomatic channels.

Yet, nobody was willing to trust either sides; a brewing battle is ready to erupt at any point, even as talks already commence and diplomacy is being sought with the aid of all others with diplomatic leadership in the Parallelogram Office. Accusations have been made pointing to the many shortcomings of mutual respect pertaining to the core of each of their abundant mythology, along with many frivolous complaints attached to it, and some even went too far by insulting their courage which is a form of desecration of their existence. Most of the arguments presented has not been limited to what motivated this Unicorns' attack (aside from the dead Unicorn currently being investigated) to challenge the sovereignty of the West Tripet, while the lines to the conflict have been clearly drawn.

As hatred continued to rise, and as the damage made by the provocative attack against the pfoHorses have seen the light of day, it was argued by the Ambassador of the West Tripet in the Parallel to allow the Unicorn state to diplomatically defend its actions in a plenary session convened for the purpose, and then permit the Parallelogram Office to determine if sanctions are applicable, in case the unprovoked armed attack was determined to be baseless and unworthy.

Several statements were made condemning the attack, while most Ambassadors have called for a more diplomatic approach by sustaining the status quo and prevent any more action regarding the conflict, and that joint military patrol be deployed between the erring territories, with the primary intent of deescalating the heated arguments that are consistently heard from the passionate deliberations of the Parallel Committee of Permanent Representatives.
