Chapter 237: A Companion to Speak

"Did you say ghosts?" the President of the Woolswood Federation overheard a conversation of Cyborgs reading something from a leather-bound book, on the way to his office. 

"Where did you find that book?" he asked again.

The Cyborgs immediately addressed the question. "It is called the Companion of the Book of Chants in the Tradition of the Ministry of Enchantments, Your Excellency." They have made a slight bow to recognize the presence and authority of the Federation President.

"Companion of the Book of Chants?" he asked with a little bit of a surprise. "Who was the author, then?"

"There's actually nothing said here about who is the author," one of the Cyborgs offered the book for the Federation President to peruse. "But it was signed by a certain reverendi Albert."

"Fascinating," the Federation President said. "And where, may I ask, did you find this book?"

The Cyborgs were silent at first, for they do not know how to articulate the reason and also because of the shady circumstances they have found the book.

"From the library, sir," someone said at last.

"Really?" the Federation President replied. But he is still not satisfied. There is something within this book that calls to the inner longings of his soul. Something strange and invisible is attached to the pages of this book.

"How did you find it exactly?" His Excellency inquired again.

"We did not purposely ask for it," said the last one of the Cyborgs who haven't spoken yet. "We found it at the Academic Section, at the very far corner of one of the bookshelves, and it revealed itself to us, wanting to be discovered."

"And?"

"It is quite strange, to be honest, because we were there to search for an old Dueling Book and then this book happened."

"Something is very weird. Not quite the ordinary," continued the other as one of the two finished explaining. 

The Federation President was intently listening while his heart is racing very fast. It might be that his intuition is really true, this time.

"So, what happened?"

The Cyborgs looked at each other with the face of bewilderment. There is definitely something wrong with that book.

"It glowed with a green light, Your Excellency."
