Chapter 233: The Theological Virtues
As we gaze upon, and so shall we see,
It is our minds which alters the state,
From whence such curiosity emanates,
As we see, so we painstakingly believe.
It is the interpretation of our senses
Which penetrates the imagination,
It is what we command to see, we accept,
It is within that we shall find the truth.
Faith is a blind state of dependence,
From which trust regarded the agent,
It is a virtue of boldness, of courage,
It is from whose account we must dream.
Love! O such a tragic word,
To be used, to be savored, to be indulged
As it is appointed in time,
Love is just a tragic belief.
Hope, then becomes eternal
It is such a sweet word
That love hasn't seen
It is the bridge from within.
No amount of wall shall separate
The love from the beloved
From a low state to highest regard
That is the beauty of faith.
Onward shall we see!
A beautiful song from within
As it is written by many poets
Love can poison the giver.
As we near, as we end,
No virtue shall dwell, eternally,
Nothing shall be kept
In silence, in the freedom, in Grace.
