Chapter 222: Litany

A part of the physical clock; a memory stick.

At last he had it in his hands. He was so thrilled to finally fulfilled the Agreement on his part, and now nothing shall stop him. At once when he took the memory stick from his elemental rabbit, he felt the immense power of time. The energy was exhilirating, and the feeling was euphoria, a very addictive one.

This last part of the physical clock was extremely hard to find, and he has put everything that he had to find it. The memory stick itself was made of lead and gold, carefully wrapped in a casing of aluminum iron. It never changed after all these years.

As he was looking at the memory stick, his head suddenly twitched in a robotic manner. His hands slightly trembled, and the memory chip at the back of his neck glowed.

A voice suddenly spoke to his inner ear. It was the Alchemist.

"Very well, Eliot," the voice said. It was very errie to the sound. "Keep that memory stick for me."

"I will, master," Eliot said blankly. He started to put away the memory stick in one of his pockets. "I shall continue on to the Algorithm Agency to retrieve the computer codes to finish what we have started."

"Perfect," the voice said. "Make sure to get the right ones. It is called Operation Code Litany."

"... Code Litany," Eliot repeated.

"I will withdraw from your consciousness now. You won't remember everything in the end, but you have been very useful to me. You can keep the elementals as a souvenir."

"... as a souvenir."
