Chapter 297: Dendrology

Between every two pines is
a doorway to a new world.

John Muir

Of all man's works of art, a cathedral is greatest.
A vast and majestic tree is greater than that.

Henry Ward Beecher

Learn character from trees,
values from roots, and change from leaves.

Tasneern Harneed

For in the true nature of things,
if we rightly consider, every green tree
is far more glorious than if it were made
of gold and silver.

Martin Luther

There is always Music amongst the Trees
in the Garden, but our hearts must be very
quiet to hear it.

Minnie Aumonier

I am like a tree.
My leaves might change color,
but my roots are the same.

Rose Namajunas

::::

There is nothing to be seen here
Other than the lush greeneries
Of the many diverse branches
Where the nest is part of home
The universe remotely moves
Into the air, a life endures
The moving cosmos
The impetus, the forces
Of those clarified to be true
Yet false, eternity reigns
The tree is eternal in kindness
It gives the shade, exhales oxygen
From the roots to the mighty twigs
The tree stands proud
Oblivious, but never blind

There also exists
An ecosystem
The order of things
As love moves into descent
A witness to the cloud
The weary, stormy kind
The wind swayed everything
But the root remains still
The soil holds it together
The inundation went by livid
But the tree in itself reminds
The cosmos is nothing but right
Without the tree of life

Hail, now, someone must say!
To curse the living nightmare
One may be compelled
But to ease a troubling manner
Through a lie, full throttle
Where is the substance?
That holds the endless love?
If not destructive, then was it chaotic?
Undesirable to an extent?
Where forests thrive, order exists
But one may question
The magic of trees
What it is then,
If not a Christmas tree?
Fully decorated
Of the many wrapped gifts

Onward, inside, and all in between
Substantially correct
Without remorse for the twigs
Magical, as nature obligates
The law of eternity rages
Besides the many clouds
Of rain, a living water drops
As the sun brightly shines
Nature recalls, it beckons still
And then the life of man
Starts to relive.
